Privacy policy

We keep this short because we collect very little.

What we collect

• Email address, only if you sign up for the holiday lists. We use it to send the guides and the hosting checklist. You can unsubscribe in any email or by writing to contact@giftandhearth.com.
• Click events on affiliate links: which link was clicked (product type, page, placement). This is not tied to your identity. We use it to learn which guides are useful.
• Standard server logs from our host, Cloudflare (IP address, browser, pages requested), used for security and reliability.
• Your theme choice is stored in your browser (localStorage) so the site remembers the season you picked.

Third parties

When you click an affiliate link you leave our site. Amazon, Viator and other retailers set their own cookies and have their own privacy policies; the affiliate programs use those cookies to attribute a purchase to us. Pinterest’s Save button loads only when you click it.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t run advertising networks on this site. If that changes we will update this page before it does.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your email at any time. If you’re in a region with privacy rights (such as the EU/UK or California) you may ask what we hold and request deletion by emailing us.
